Synxis Hub Front Desk ID Scanning Guide

Initiating Scanning In Synis Hub


Use this guide when checking in a guest and filling their ID information into Synxis Hub

  1. Open the guest record in Synxis Hub

    1. Open Synxis Hub and go to the guest’s profile.
    2. While checking in the guest, open the guest profile section.
    3. Ensure the address field is visible, if not click New.

  2. Scan the guest ID

    1. Place the guest ID on the scanner.
    2. Either side of the ID can be scanned first.
    3. Once the first side is scanned, flip the ID over and scan the other side.  
InfoFor the fastest scan, place the barcode side on the scanner first.

  1. Review the scan popup

  1. After both sides are scanned, a popup window will appear showing the most recent ID scan.
  2. Confirm that the ID images appear clearly on the screen.

  1. Fill the guest ID information

  1. Click Guest Details Button.
  2. The guest information will automatically fill into guest profile.
  3. Review the filled information before completing the check-in.
